
Campaigns
Through coursework, extra-curricular involvement, and corporate experience, I have gained valuable insight into the world of creating a campaign for a brand. From conducting research, to designing advertisements, to proofreading, I have experience in each step of the campaign-creation process. Working with varying teams, I have contributed extensive work to create final products that I take great pride in. Explore some of the campaigns I have worked on below.
The Strongest Men – Puma
For my senior capstone project, I worked in a team of three other people to create and execute a full creative campaign for a brand of our choosing. Our result was The Strongest Men campaign for Puma, the big idea being the celebration of the strength and lifestyle of young male professionals inside and outside the gym. We conducted our own research and followed the campaign-creation process from start to finish to create a completely original campaign targeted toward young, working males. Life Comes Full Circle – Ocean Spray
I was a member of JMU's Advertising Club for two years. Each year, the Advertising Club participates in the American Advertising Federation's National Student Advertising Competition by creating a campaign for a real brand. For the 2017-2018 competition the brand was Ocean Spray, for which our chapter created the Life Comes Full Circle campaign. I played an active role in the club's campaign process by brainstorming, critiquing, and editing the final draft of the plansbook for grammatical errors, among other duties as a general body member. Who's to Judge? – Weinerschnitzel
I served on the executive board of JMU's Advertising Club for the 2018-2019 school year as the VP of Public Relations. Being that I was an executive member, I played a much more crucial and involved role in the creation process of our Weinerschnitzel campaign than the general body members. In addition to my public relations duties, I was very involved throughout the creation of the campaign; for example, I played a key role in editing the final draft of our plansbook for grammatical errors and I had full responsibility for the CSR and sponsorships portion of our campaign, for which we were specifically commended on by the judges of the competition.
